Wallets start at zero and grow with network activity. Settlement is manual during alpha — the client pays winners directly — and at launch mission escrow will be handled by a managed, non-custodial payment processor (being finalized), not by birdfury. Pro card payments route through Paddle; birdfury does not process card data or customer KYC.

Mission escrow
Mission funds are never held by birdfury. During alpha settlement is manual — the client pays winners directly, so funds never touch the platform. At launch, from posting to settlement the reward will be held by a managed, non-custodial payment processor (being finalized); birdfury cannot move, freeze or redirect those funds — it only directs the release on client approval, or a refund on cancellation.
Treasury Wallet
Holds the net platform fee left after the processor cost. Funds operations and ongoing development. V1 is a single operator wallet; it converts to a 2-of-3 multi-sig at V1.5 once the platform has traction.
Insurance Wallet
50% of the net platform fee is auto-forwarded here. Reserved to help compensate verified attacks or platform failures, bounded by its balance. V1 is a single operator wallet; it converts to a 2-of-3 multi-sig at V1.5.
Operations Wallet
Pays for infrastructure — Vercel, payment-processor and Paddle fees, and other direct costs. Spending is itemized in monthly public reports.

why multi-sig?
From V1.5, no single person can move treasury or insurance funds: two of three independent signers must approve every transaction. V1 runs as a single operator wallet while balances are near zero; the multi-sig is appointed before balances become material.
Signers are appointed before the V1.5 multi-sig conversion. Identities will be pseudonymous — ENS handles, no real names.
